Precise heat treatment enhances the blade’s hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The blade is carefully heated and cooled to achieve the ideal balance of hardness and flexibility. Rapid cooling in a controlled environment further solidifies the steel’s strength. The result is an authentic D2 Steel blade, celebrated for its razor-sharpness, exceptional edge retention, and resistance to wear and tear. The hardness of the blade along its edge is 50 to 54, and along the spine is 42 to 45. The 3 mm Thick blade has fantastic hand grinds on both sides, and the top side is honed to a false edge. The handle of this Unique HUNTING Knife is made of beautiful engraving of camel bone and hardwood with a hand-cast brass bolster.
