Bowie D2 24 12 Bone and Wood

This beautiful hunting knife was designed and made by Rody Stan. The knife is not only stunning in looks, but it is also rock solid because of its robust construction with its 4 mm thick blade. The beautiful D2 blade of the knife is the result of hours and hours of forging.  Rody Stan hand-forged the blade of this knife with D2. The blade was given excellent heat treatment, and the Rockwell hardness along its edge is 54, and along the spine is 42-45. The 4 mm thick blade has fantastic hand grinds on both sides, with the top side left with a false edge.  The overall length of this knife is a whopping 12″, and the length of the blade is 7″. The superb handle is a work of art. It is made of pakka wood scales fastened with brass pins and strong epoxy for lifetime durability. The knife is complimented with a hand-casted steel guard. This sheath is not of universal size but is made custom, just like this custom knife. The knife comes with a custom-made, genuine, top-quality calfskin that fits the knife perfectly. The leather sheath is totally hand-tooled and sewn.
