Our blades are not just made from high-quality Damascus steel; they are custom-made individually. The blade of this hunting knife is the result of the saw-blade effect at a microscopic level, a feature that allows the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. The Blade of this knife is 1095 and 15N20 high steel true layers (512), ensuring excellent heat treatment and a rock-well hardness of the blade. The hardness along its edge is 50 to 54 and along the spine is 42-45. The spine of the blade tang features excellent file work. The superb-looking handle of this Unique Hunting knife is made of beautifully stained camel bone and hardwood, with brass spacers and a hand-cast brass bolster.

CUSTOM HANDMADE 1095 HIGH CARBON STEEL HUNTING Bowie KNIFE WITH WOOD HANDLE.
1095 High-carbon steel is formed using conventional techniques. It needs more force than low-carbon steels to perform this process. It is welded using all welding techniques. It is pre-heated at 260 to 315°C (500 to 600°F) and post-heated at 648 to 788°C (1200 to 1450°F). It is hardened at 899°C (1650°F). It is then quenched in oil, followed by tempering. The cutting edge of knives is hardened by heating and quenching to maintain the steel's toughness.
